Our component of the month April is the X-Act 325, a universally applicable electromagnetic shaker, which is mainly used for vibration testing and modal analysis in component testing. Its special feature is its compactness and low weight, which also makes it suitable for mobile use. Our customer MB Dynamics was able to fully concentrate on the development of the system, while Spanflug took over the manufacturing coordination of all components. Already during development the costs of the assembly could be calculated via our price calculator.
The assembly itself consisted of several turned and milled parts, which were manufactured from mild steel and four different aluminum alloys. Anodizing and powder coating were used as post-treatment processes.
