Titanium is a high-quality material that is costly to manufacture and rather demanding to machine by turning and milling. However, it is characterized by a unique combination of high strength and corrosion resistance with very low density. Due to these special properties, titanium is used, for example, in applications in aerospace, medical technology, electroplating or in the chemical industry.

Hardness: 150 HB

The material 3.7035 is technically pure titanium, which has the highest corrosion resistance among titanium alloys. Grade 2 offers a balance of good strength and ductility.

Titanium Grade 5

Hardness: 310 HB

Titanium Grade 5 (Ti6AI4V) is the most widely used titanium alloy. Compared to pure titanium, Grade 5 has a higher tensile strength and a higher yield strength. This titanium alloy is suitable when strength is more important than corrosion resistance.
