Most copper alloys have very good machining properties and are suitable for turning and milling. In application, these materials offer very good sliding properties, good electrical conductivity, good thermal conductivity and high corrosion resistance.

Ms58 (brass)

Hardness: 90 - 150 HB

CuZn39Pb3 (brass) is the most widely used copper zinc alloy for machining. It is characterized by very good sliding properties as well as good thermal conductivity.

Cu-ETP
CW004A (E-copper)

Tensile strength: 240 - 300 N/mm²

Hardness: 75 - 100 HB

CW004A has a copper content of 99.9 % . The material is characterized in particular by its high electrical conductivity and relatively high corrosion resistance. Applications include electrodes for spark erosion and connecting elements in battery systems.

CC483K (Bronze)

Hardness: 80 HB

CuSn12 (bronze) is a copper-tin alloy characterized by good spring properties as well as very good sliding properties. This alloy is therefore particularly well suited for applications with high sliding speeds.

CuSn7Zn4Pb7
Rg7 (gunmetal)

Hardness: 70 HB

Rg7(gunmetal) is a copper alloy with excellent sliding and emergency running properties. The main applications for this material are plain bearings and bearing bushes for mechanical engineering. Rg7 is not RoHS compliant.
