This is how we support companies in system-critical areas
In the current situation, we want to keep particularly system-critical sectors capable of delivery, which now have to produce with a high degree of urgency. The medical technology manufacturer Xenios, for example, has a system for the treatment of acute lung failure in its Xenios Console, which is used for particularly severe corona processes. The system oxygenates the patient's blood outside the body, relieving pressure on the heart and lungs. Xenios has delivered consoles to the crisis area of Wuhan as well as donated them and is now increasing its production by 50 percent to meet global demand. Spanflug is supplying components to Xenios for the prototyping of a new production facility for the much-needed system. This new plant should enable Xenios to produce even more efficiently and faster.
