Automated US thread detection
From now on we can also consider threads according to the common US standards NPT, NPTF, UNC and UNF in the automatic price calculation, if these are included in the technical drawing. In contrast to the metric threads commonly used in Europe, the size is specified here in inches. This means that U.S. standard, fine and pipe threads are now also available. The available dimensions range from 1/16" to 6".
New post-treatments
From now on, you can also order ultrasonic cleaning, carbonitriding and chromating as post-treatment for turning and milling parts in the online shop. For chrome plating, you now have the choice between black chrome plating, matte chrome plating, hard chrome plating and bright chrome plating.
New material steel 11SMnPb37
We are expanding our range of steels to include the alloy 11SMnPb37/9SMnPb36. This free machining steel is characterized by its particularly good machinability and complements the existing lead-free steel 11SMn30/9SMn28. This means that you can now choose from 56 different materials at Spanflug.
