"Our goal is to make manufacturing companies fit for digitization. Through the efficient quotation process, we relieve them of administrative tasks so that they can answer customer inquiries quickly and deploy technical specialists for the actual manufacturing tasks. With 'Spanflug für Fertiger', manufacturers determine reproducible, market-oriented prices and can thus increase the hit rate of their offers," says Markus Westermeier.
The calculation software is based on the proven price algorithm that the Munich-based startup has been using since 2018 for its online platform for the procurement of CNC turned and milled parts. This has been optimized based on more than 60,000 turned and milled parts in the meantime. Manufacturing-relevant features are automatically evaluated from a CAD model - and optionally a technical drawing. In addition, manufacturing companies can see a detailed breakdown of the calculated costs for materials, setup, programming, production and shipping, and customize them. Users can transfer the calculated prices to their ERP system via an interface. Interested parties can test the full version of "Spanflug für Fertiger" for 14 days free of charge. After that, the software can be used on a monthly or annual subscription basis.
